    And the world keeps turning ...

     
    Hi all,
     
    Yes, I'm still around - and still computer-less, lol.
     
    What's been going on?  Well ...
     
    Car is playing up again - this time it's the alternator ... *sigh* ... anyone got a spare alternator? lmao
     
    Was sick as a dog on Monday with gastro or food poisoning - not sure which.  Missed my FULL day of uni - and still trying to catch up with all that went on.  Monday consists of 3 lectures and 2 tutorials - full on - from 10 am to 8.30 pm ... and I was crawling from bed to toilet ... with a bucket right next to me for most of the day.  I'm furious that I missed the day - couldn't it have happened on Tuesday, or the weekend or ANY day apart from Monday?  Oh well ... these things are sent to try us ... hmmmm ... damn trying though.
     
    Was notified that I made the top 20 students for last Semester in the "School" that Social Work falls under - which is the School of Social Sciences and Pscyhology - across all campuses from what I understand.  Surprised the heck out of me.
     
    The girls are doing well ... the eldest is working, the youngest is at school.
     
    Damn ... my life is SOOOOOOO boring lately ... feel like it's just a repeat of the "same old, same old" ... but then again, studying, home and work (when I can get it) is enough to occupy anyone.
     
    Hmmmmmm .... damn, nothing else much to add ... just wanted to say hi ... and that the computer is once again on the 'back burner' ... do you have any idea how much it costs to replace a damn alternator?????  UGH!

Great to see Uni is going so well for you and the girls have gotten their lives underway. I hope you are finding some me time in your busy schedule. I often think of you and yours and wonder how everything is going, we will have to catch up one of thes days.

    No, not alcohol poisoning, in fact, I can't remember the last time I went 'out for drinks'.

    As for school ... ummmm ... 'School' means the 'School of Social Sciences and Psychology' across 10 campuses that fall under the banner of this university ... so I'm not quite sure how many students that includes - and yes, I'm NOW being a Miss Smarty Pants, lmao.

    And yes - the important things: the girls and what I'm trying to achieve are going well ... the rest will sort itself out - it always does, lol.

    I miss my friends online - can't chat ... and don't spend too much time on here anymore at all ... a lifeline has been lost ... *sob*.

    Sorry to hear you were sick, not Alcohol poisoning I hope.

    Well anyway who is mis smarty pants. Top 20 in school? Please do not spoil it by telling us that there are in fact only 21 of you in total.

    So Uni is good, the girls are good that is important.

    Car sick, computer dead, these are survivable.
